We are a group of local citizens with a vision, who came together and formed a nonprofit organization in 2011 to support the Ponte Vedra Beach Concert Hall. Our Vision

The Friends of The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall's mission is to cultivate community engagement, local support, and financial investment through advocacy and action. Will we look to do this by elevating North Florida cultural entertainment through authentic artist and guest experiences in a sensational environment.

Steve Gard


Steven Gard recently retired from the Florida Attorney General's Office where he served as a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Jacksonville, Florida office. He is now the owner of Gard Mediation, LLC and is a Florida Supreme Court certified circuit court mediator. In addition to serving as the President of the Friends of the Concert Hall, he is also a member of the Masonic Lodge in St. Augustine, Florida as well as the Middleburg, Florida chapter of the American Legion

Wendy Balogh


Being a huge fan of live music, I bought tickets to a concert in Jacksonville before I had officially moved here. After moving, I looked for ways to get involved with the local music community and found the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. During the day I work as a digital innovation project manager and in my free time can be found shooting photos or playing a round a golf.

Jennifer Werba


Jennifer is an accomplished Sales and Marketing Leader with many years of working within the Non-Profit/Arts industry. She holds a BA in Public Relations from Shorter College. Prior to her current marketing consultant position, she worked at AudienceView/TheaterMania helping theaters and event spaces fine tune their ticketing, subscriber and development data. In addition to her passion for helping the Friends, she also volunteers at the local elementary school and at Sawgrass Country Club

Marc Ressler


Marc Ressler is a graduate of the University at Buffalo. For the past 30 years Marc has been self employed as the owner several successful businesses in Florida and New York where he is originally from. He was a founding member and President of The New York State Liquor Store Association and has held Officer and Director positions for various organizations.

Marc now lives in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida and has been married for 25 years to his wife Deborah with a 16 year old son named Eric.

Currently, Marc owns a Real Estate investment firm specializing in acquiring and managing multi unit apartment buildings, and volunteers his time for local non profits.

Hugh Rappa


Except for a year hiatus, Hugh has been a member of the Friends since its inception. He was the original treasurer for the Friends. He has always been a supporter of theater and musical events. Currently Hugh is a full professor and the Associate Program Director for a Physician Assistant program in Jacksonville. He received his degree from the University of Padua, where he continued to train and work.

Pamela Bomba


Pamela is a Tax Partner with Pivot CPAs where she began her career in 2005 after
receiving her B.A. in Business Administration, and Master of Accountancy from the
University of North Florida. She has always lived Northeast Florida and now calls Palm
Valley home. While she has a strong background in all areas of taxation, Pamela primarily specializes
in consulting and compliance for large, multi-state corporations, partnerships, and their
owners. She has extensive experience with different tax sectors including local, state and
federal taxation and financial accounting. Pamela is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
In the community, she serves on the board of the St John's County Chamber of
Commerce - Ponte Vedra Beach division. Pamela is a mentor with the Jacksonville
Women’s Business Center and is a member of the Accounting and Financial Women’s
Alliance. She also actively volunteers with Junior Achievement and the Cultural Center at
Ponte Vedra Beach.

Cecilia Hennig


Florida State Graduate. Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Educator. Presently employed at the Department of Veterans Affairs outpatient clinic in Jacksonville where I am proud to serve our Veterans. Enjoy supporting live music and art and serving on the Friends Board. Being involved in the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is very exciting as we continue to expand and bring outstanding talent, music and arts to the beaches community and music lovers from near and far!

Sal Rappa


I hold a bachelors degree in music education from Berklee College of Music in Boston and a masters degree in the same from Queens college in NY . I’ve performed in various traveling bands for a handful of years before becoming a public school music teacher for 26 years. I enjoy seeing and hearing all types of music at the music hall . And I enjoy meeting the people that come to our shows just as much.

Jerry Wilson


Jerry Wilson is an advocate for the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall due to his love of live music and support for community culture. Elected to the board in 2019, he chairs the strategic planning committee. Jerry is a retired business executive and he and his wife are residents of Ponte Vedra Beach
